Diagnostics & Internal Medicine

Finding the right answer often begins with asking the right question. We select tests based on your pet’s history and examination, then explain what the results mean.

How we approach it

Testing should move the case forward.

Before recommending bloodwork or imaging, we discuss what we are trying to learn and how the result may change the plan. When a test is unlikely to add useful information, we say so.

Care may include

  • In-house bloodwork
  • Urinalysis and fecal testing
  • Digital radiography
  • Ultrasound imaging
  • Heartworm and infectious-disease screening
  • Cytology
  • Reference laboratory testing
  • Chronic disease monitoring
  • Medical case management
Good to know

Some patients may need referral or advanced imaging. We will discuss that clearly whenever specialty care is the safest next step.
